Eight hours to takeoff

Hello all, and welcome to my attempt at "blogging" or rather forcing myself to start doing something creative and using my brother's wedding in Hawaii as a springboard.
So here's the plan:
at least once a day, probably twice, i am going to pop onto this site and write some thoughts, bad haiku, stream of conciousness, or something as well as keep a running update of pictures.
feel free to comment, or whatever, and I hope everyone's week will be brightened, or at least filled with horrific jealosy. :)

and I will do my best to include all of the typos, grammatical errors, and uninintentional pretention and offensiveness I can muster.
time to finish packing, talk to you from sunny Hawaii.
p.s. For those of you with google earth, I will be staying at 21 Degrees 41'52.61" N lattitude, 158 degrees 00'47.23" W Longitude. Go france, and here's to hoping i will get a chance to see the world cup final

  • Rock on, Justin. I think surfing is a great idea, but do it on a longboard. the shortboard is way too hard for you.... unless I dared you...

  • Of course longboard, "ten toes" takaki was the speaker at NU on my first day, and though he rambled about a bunch of stuff including abraham lincoln, he impressed upon me the need for longboarding.
    ;)
